#41: The Hunger Games

Never in my life have I thought that I would join the craze. Join the fun and laughter. And spazz over everything fictional.

And well I have.

15 years after the first book in the Harry Potter series, I first started reading it.

11 years after the first film was released, I first started watching it.

And all the time I only had one thought, WHY IN THE WORLD DID I NOT JOIN THE HP CRAZE 10 YEARS AGO? Like the other school kids? Like every other kid going crazy over the boy with the lightning scar? I only vaguely remember that I waved off that whole series, claiming it’s fantasy and childish.

And oh my, was I wrong. Even though I’m most likely not in the appropriate age group to read the series, it didn’t stop me from collecting all the DVD films. The only consolation from my childhood blunder, would be I won’t have to wait at all for the books or films to be released! Isn’t that great?

And then the next, THE HUNGER GAMES.

Big, mega, huge craze over it especially when the film was about to be released.

Half a year after then film, I’m proud to say I’ve finally watched the film on a plane. Small screen, but immense pleasure. What a great movie :’)

2 years after the first book was released, I’ve finally read it. As well as the other 2 in the series.

And boy, do I regret not joining in The Hunger Games craze half a year ago!

Well, the only joy I can find in this is, AT LEAST I CAN WATCH CATCHING FIRE AND MOCKINGJAY AT THE SAME TIME AS OTHERS! 😀

And I didn’t actually decide to read the books 15 years later 😛
